Terms of Service

1. The App

TendCue is a personal reminder application that helps you manage recurring tasks based on your actual completion time instead of a fixed calendar schedule.

The app currently includes features such as:

• reminder creation, editing, completion, pause, resume, and deletion
• local reminder notifications
• optional sync across your Apple devices through iCloud / CloudKit
• an Apple Watch companion experience for viewing reminders and taking quick actions

2. Eligibility And Platform Requirements

You may use the app only in compliance with applicable law and the platform rules that apply to your device and App Store account.

Some features depend on Apple platform services and permissions, including:

• notification permissions
• device compatibility
• Apple account status
• iCloud availability
• paired watch availability for watch companion features

3. License And Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app for your personal, lawful use.

You may not:

• use the app in violation of law
• interfere with the app or Apple platform services
• attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the app except where applicable law does not allow that restriction
• use the app for emergency response, medical monitoring, or other safety-critical purposes

4. No Separate Developer Account

The current version of the app does not require you to create a separate account with the developer. If you use sync features, those features rely on your Apple account and Apple services.

5. Notifications, Sync, And Availability

The app is intended to help you manage reminders, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery timing, or availability of:

• local notifications
• iCloud sync
• watch companion communication
• background processing

These features depend on Apple operating systems, device settings, permissions, battery conditions, network availability, time settings, and other factors outside the developer's direct control.

6. Your Content

You are responsible for the reminder information you create, edit, or delete in the app.

You should keep your own backups or account safeguards where appropriate. If you enable Apple cloud services, your data may also be stored or processed by Apple as part of those services.

7. Changes To The App

The developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time, including to improve features, fix bugs, comply with legal obligations, or respond to platform requirements.

8. Privacy

Your use of the app is also subject to the app's Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The app, including its software, text, design elements, and related materials, is owned by the developer or licensed to the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.

10. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

The developer does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for every use case.

11. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, business, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Apple Distribution

If you obtained the app through Apple, you acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Apple is not responsible for the app, its maintenance, or support, except as may be required under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law or applicable Apple platform terms.

13. Changes To These Terms

The developer may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version should be made available wherever these Terms are published for the app.
